Summer Academy just wrapped up at the elementary school, and it was full of learning, laughter, stories, fun, and sweet treats! Throughout June, Rylan Wood shared a new book each week with our kindergarten and 1st grade students, followed by fun, hands-on activities inspired by the stories. We’re so proud of our students for their creativity and enthusiasm, and we’re grateful to the amazing staff who helped make the program such a success. Enjoy the rest of your summer break, Cougar Nation!

The Auditorium (Old Gym) will be closed until July 10th due to floor refinishing.

The CV High School Gym will be closed until further notice while the floor is being refinished.

Great work CVE's May Cougar Community Recognition winners! Our Star Student winners did an awesome job of working on GRATITUDE all month long. They also got pizza with the principal! Special thank you to Mr. Ed Smyth, Mr. Paul Barker, Mrs. Heidi McManaman, and Mr. Chip Bartos for their commitment and dedication to making Cougar Nation the very best. Our 6th graders had a lot of fun on their overnight field trip to the Omaha Zoo! Thanks so much to our CVE staff and parent volunteers for making it happen!

The Kindergarten and 6th grade graduations will be held together on Tuesday, May 20th beginning at 12:45 at the CV elementary school. Elementary dismissal will be a 1:30 and high school dismissal will be at 2:00 as previously scheduled.

Due to funeral services, Central Valley Public School will be closed on Monday, May 19.
