This morning, CVE was filled with creativity during our annual Decorating with Dad event! Dads and other family members joined students in classrooms to design and create Valentine’s Day containers for this afternoon’s parties. Thank you to everyone who took time out of their morning to be part of such a fun tradition at CVE!

SCHEDULE CHANGE: The boys JH basketball game vs NG/SE today has been moved to Thursday, February 5th at 2:00 pm at Central Valley.
The elementary school officially kicked off One Book, One School today, featuring The One and Only Ivan. To launch the initiative, our 6th grade students prepared and performed a Reader’s Theater based on the book for the entire school. Over the next month, classroom teachers will continue reading the story with their students while engaging them in comprehension questions and fun, meaningful activities. Let the reading adventure begin!
JH Basketball game today vs Twin Loup are in Sargent. Girls game starts at 1:00 pm followed by the boys game at 2:00.

The Central Valley Public Schools’ Administration recently became aware of solicitations that some local businesses and patrons have received from a company called All-American Publishing. This company’s solicitations ask the recipient if they “would be interested in supporting Central Valley High School” by being represented on T-shirts that this company claims will be worn by students, faculty, and parents at all community events and during games.
We are concerned that All-American Publishing’s solicitations risk misleading our patrons into believing that a financial payment to this company will ultimately benefit the school district. That is not the case.
The school district does not have any contractual relationship with All-American Publishing. All-American Publishing does not make financial contributions to the school district.
We hope this statement clarifies the situation. If you have further questions, please contact Central Valley High School’s Principal Kimbrie Vlach at (308) 428-3145.
