The elementary school students did a great job today honoring our Veterans with their Veterans Day Program. Special thank you to Katie Davis, Julie Baker, Krista Sipes, and Mindy Smith for putting it all together. And of course, thank you to all of our wonderful Veterans!
FFA District Livestock Judging Results
On Wednesday, November 8, several FFA members competed in the District Livestock Judging Contest at Custer County Fairgrounds in Broken Bow.
Senior Division Results: Chism Goodrich placed 18th out of 66 individuals.
Junior High Division Results: Central Valley JH Team earned Runner-Up out of 16 teams. Zevan Wolf-3rd overall, Austin Dush-9th overall, Oaklan Soto-11th overall and Tanner Schultz-12th overall. There were 149 contestants in the junior high division.

The Central Valley FFA members have been staying busy with several events throughout the past couple weeks.
Soil Judging Team - On Wednesday, October 11, Morgan Johnson, Kendra Cargill, Lauren Diessner and Tristin Grim participated in the North Central Land Judging Contest. Kendra Cargill received a white ribbon, placing in the top half of participants.
Natonal FFA Convention - Last week on October 31 - November 4, three CV FFA officers (Kendra Cargill, Lauren Diessner and Emalee Leth) attended the National FFA Convention in Indianapolis, Indiana. They were able to participate in multiple educational tours, expos, and other activities among thousands of other FFA members from all over the country. The tours included visiting the Louisville Slugger Museum, Churchill Downs and the Indianapolis Motor Speedway.
Central Valley hosted Osmond in a dual at Riverview Lanes in St. Paul. Central Valley #1 won the whole dual with a combined 3 game score of 349. They also boasted the high game score out of the 15 games bowled that day with a 156!!! Those team members were Connor Boutin, Alexis Johnson, and Piper Shepard.
The other Central Valley bowlers that competed today were Katie Middendorf, Kinley Nelson, Krissy Linder, Brooke Noack, Mattie Schumacher, Annaka Wood and Brooklyn Perrott. Awesome job, Cougars!!
