Congratulations to these Cougar Volleyball players for being named to the All Conference Volleyball Teams!! The 2023 Lady Cougars were also crowned the Goldenrod Conference Season Champs!!

The elementary school students did a great job today honoring our Veterans with their Veterans Day Program. Special thank you to Katie Davis, Julie Baker, Krista Sipes, and Mindy Smith for putting it all together. And of course, thank you to all of our wonderful Veterans!











FFA District Livestock Judging Results
On Wednesday, November 8, several FFA members competed in the District Livestock Judging Contest at Custer County Fairgrounds in Broken Bow.
Senior Division Results: Chism Goodrich placed 18th out of 66 individuals.
Junior High Division Results: Central Valley JH Team earned Runner-Up out of 16 teams. Zevan Wolf-3rd overall, Austin Dush-9th overall, Oaklan Soto-11th overall and Tanner Schultz-12th overall. There were 149 contestants in the junior high division.
Congratulations to all CV FFA members for the hard work and dedication you have put into the program thus far!!


The Central Valley FFA members have been staying busy with several events throughout the past couple weeks.
Soil Judging Team - On Wednesday, October 11, Morgan Johnson, Kendra Cargill, Lauren Diessner and Tristin Grim participated in the North Central Land Judging Contest. Kendra Cargill received a white ribbon, placing in the top half of participants.
Natonal FFA Convention - Last week on October 31 - November 4, three CV FFA officers (Kendra Cargill, Lauren Diessner and Emalee Leth) attended the National FFA Convention in Indianapolis, Indiana. They were able to participate in multiple educational tours, expos, and other activities among thousands of other FFA members from all over the country. The tours included visiting the Louisville Slugger Museum, Churchill Downs and the Indianapolis Motor Speedway.





Central Valley hosted Osmond in a dual at Riverview Lanes in St. Paul. Central Valley #1 won the whole dual with a combined 3 game score of 349. They also boasted the high game score out of the 15 games bowled that day with a 156!!! Those team members were Connor Boutin, Alexis Johnson, and Piper Shepard.
The other Central Valley bowlers that competed today were Katie Middendorf, Kinley Nelson, Krissy Linder, Brooke Noack, Mattie Schumacher, Annaka Wood and Brooklyn Perrott. Awesome job, Cougars!!

It was pancakes with the principal on Wednesday at CVE. So proud of our October Cougar Community Recognition staff and Star Student winners. As always, thank you so much to the Central Valley PTO for providing the goodies, to Mrs. Julia Wood and Mrs. Mandy McClure for setting everything up, and to Mr. Tom for flipping up the pancakes. Great work, CVE's October Cougar Community Recognition winners! Our Star Student winners did an awesome job of working on COMPASSION all month long. Special thank you to Mrs. Erika Klassen, Mrs. Megan Buettner, Mr. Tyler Beaty, Mr. Jordan Beck, and Mrs. Brittany Dugan for their commitment and dedication to making Cougar Nation the very best! And congrats to Mrs. Ryan's 2nd grade class for being our October Golden Spoon Award winner. Her class displayed excellent responsibility, manners, respect, and positivity in the lunch line, kitchen, and cafeteria the entire month. Keep shinning bright, Cougar Nation!
