With the garden season right around the corner, CV FFA invites you to purchase your plant items at our annual plant sale on SATURDAY, MAY 6th from 10 am-4 pm! We have several types of flowers (Petunias, Begonias, Impatiens, Geraniums, and much more), Vegetables (Tomatoes, Peppers, Herbs, and much more), Ornamental Grasses, and Succulents! If you have any questions or have a certain item you would like, feel free to contact Mrs. Freeman via email or call the school.

Schedule for final Aladdin Rehearsals… Thursday April 6th-6-9 Rehearsal at the Auditorium in Greeley All main cast members, Genies Entourage and Prince Ali’s Entourage Whole Show Friday April 7th (No School) Rehearsal from 3-8 p.m. A schedule of the day will be posted later. We will work around schedule conflicts regarding the religious holiday Monday April 10th (No School) DRESS REHEARSAL-ALL CAST and CREW 9 a.m.-Noon Scenes 1-7 Tuesday April 11th DRESS REHEARSAL-ALL CAST and CHOIR 6:00 p.m.-9:00 p.m. Scenes 7-11 Wednesday April 12th REHEARSAL ALL CAST (except choir) 9:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. (You will need to have makeup slips signed for this rehearsal. Come to the auditorium after you are finished with sports photos) Thursday April 13th REHEARSAL-ALL CAST Run through whole show Friday April 14th FINAL DRESS REHEARSAL FOR WHOLE SCHOOL K-12 Dismiss after lunch and get into costume for 1 p.m. show Friday night April 14th OPENING NIGHT!! 7 p.m. show Saturday night April 15th FINAL SHOW 7 p.m.

SCHEDULE UPDATE: The Junior High track meet at Osceola on Thursday will start at 10:00 am. Bus will depart Scotia at 7:05 am, Greeley at 7:20 am and Wolbach at 7:45 am.

The CV track & field team will compete tomorrow at the Fullerton Invite. Bus departs Greeley at 7:45am & Wolbach at 8:05am. Go Cougars!

TRACK MEET UPDATE: Due to change in venue, tomorrow's track meet will now be a finals only schedule. The field events will still start at 10 am and the running events will now start at 11:30.

SCHEDULE UPDATE: The Pleasanton Track Invite tomorrow has been moved to Overton. Field events start at 10 am with running events starting at 12:30 pm. Athletes and spectators are asked to stay off any area that does not have grass as they are currently updating their facilities.

The CV Junior High Speech Season and Team are off and running BIG TIME for the 2023 season. CV hosted the 1st Annual Cougar Clash on March 25th, while still early in the season 5 teams competed in 9 events performing 3 rounds thru-out the day. Every Cougar member medaled, with 24 events. Team Sweeps: CV (374 pts). Runner up was Tall Grass Forensics Club. Congratulations to all our winners! Mrs. Wurst and her 2nd grade students visited the Edgerton Explorit Center in Aurora yesterday, and had so much fun exploring and participating in many different hands-on learning activities. The "Explorit Zone" was a huge hit! Check out the YouTube Video. https://youtu.be/k8_1BAsT3gI

SCHEDULE UPDATE: The Ravenna Golf Quad tomorrow has been cancelled and will not be rescheduled. Also, the Pleasanton Track Invite has been moved to Thursday at Kearney High School. Field events will start at 10 am and running events will begin at 12:00 pm.

CV FFA had a great time over at the elementary for Ag literacy day! They were able to read a book about agriculture and complete an activity with each grade! Kindergarten through 2nd grade learned about the Tops and Bottoms of the plants we eat and 3rd grade through 6th grade learned about Soybean Farming!

Central Valley is hosting its 1st annual Jr. High Speech Meet, The Cougar Clash, this Saturday, March 25. The public is invited and encouraged to attend to support and cheer on our Cougar speakers! Rounds start at 9:00am, 10:30am and 12:00pm. The CV team consists of 17 students in the 6-8th grade and will have 24 events they will be competing in at this meet.

CONFERENCE MUSIC CLINIC SCHEDULE AND REMINDERS FOR WEDNESDAY MARCH 22ND Just a reminder that boys in band or choir need to wear a white button down dress shirt, black tie and black pants and girls need to wear a white top, black pants or knee length black skirt and a white top. Dress shoes would be a "nice to have item" as well! SCHEDULE FOR BAND AND CHOIR 7:45 a.m.-Band students Arrive and meet in music room 8:10 a.m.-Band warm up in the weight room 8:30 a.m.-Band performs in the gym 12:45 p.m.-Choir students arrive and meet in music room-Line up 1:40 p.m.-Choir warms up in weight room 2:00 p.m.-Choir performs Students may leave after they perform unless they are working concessions or are scheduled for a solo or duet.
