Ten Central Valley Elementary students earned Principal for a Day honors today because of their semester one perfect attendance. Beka Wood, Kallum Holley, Teagan McClure, Varek Anderson, Owen Anderson, Anistyn Grim, Watson Wood, Berkany Dugan, Millie Kriewald, and Rhett Stromp all got to help Mr. Carlson with a variety of principal duties throughout the school. On Tuesday, January 7, 2025, PowerSchool informed our team that they experienced a cybersecurity incident involving unauthorized access to certain PowerSchool customer data. Unfortunately, they have confirmed that the information belongs to some of Central Valley’s families and educators.

2025 Goldenrod Conference Basketball Tournament begins this Saturday! The Lady Cougars will play at Nebraska Christian on Tuesday, Jan. 21st at 6:00 pm vs Burwell. The Cougar boys basketball team will play at Fullerton on Monday, Jan. 20th at 6:00 pm vs Newman Grove/St. Ed. Good Luck Cougars!

Central Valley Jr./Sr. High School's Winter Concert is postponed until Monday December 16th out of an abundance of caution due to severe weather forecasted for the area.
Additionally, all after school extracurricular activities are canceled for Friday December 13th to ensure that all students arrive home safely ahead of severe weather forecasted for the area
